Please share a little info about yourself.
My name is Zerrick Wilson and I am originally from Smithfield, VA, but have resided in Raleigh, NC, since 2008. I am the New Facility Implementation Sr. Manager at TireHub. My role is to search for new warehouses in markets where we want to expand and determine if they are suitable for our business. Outside of work, I enjoy going to my daughter’s basketball games, assembling drag race motors, and drag racing.
How long have you been a Hubber (TireHub employee)?
I’ve been a Hubber since day 1!
How long have you been in the tire industry?
I’ve been in the tire industry for 14 years. I was a Service Advisor at a car dealership, and my boss at the time went to work for a company that is now known as NTW. He reached out to me immediately and said they were opening a distribution center in Raleigh and asked if I was interested. In March of 2008, I was hired as a Customer Service Representative. After that, I was promoted to Warehouse Manager and have worked in Operations ever since.
What does Elevating Customer Experience mean to you?
Elevating Customer Experience means doing more for our customers to help them grow their business and satisfy their customers. It means doing things that differentiate us from our competitors. For example, providing timely and consistent deliveries, frequent visits from our Sales and TLC Leaders, and solving any issues that arise in a speedy manner for our customers. It means making people feel good about doing business TireHub and making their first interaction with us a warm and friendly experience.
How is TireHub different?
I feel like we are different because we are investing in the growth of our company, which shows we are serious about winning.
How would you describe life as a Hubber?
TireHub cares and takes care of its Hubbers.
What would you deem your greatest success since starting with TireHub?
I have been able to promote people from within and have seen others grow in their roles. That’s very impactful and it makes you feel like you are making a difference. Even people I’ve hired in the past that no longer work here still reach out and say they are thankful for the opportunity. That makes it feel worth it.
